D'Light 5K Run / 1 Mile Walk

The D'Light 5K is sponsored by Cleveland Montessori in memory of Demetrius Smith. The run raises scholarship funds in Demetrius' name - providing over $12,000 in tuition support over the past 9 years. For this 10th Anniversary run, we hope to see many of our past students and race enthusiasts, making this a year to remember! The 5K and 1 Mile routes wind through the streets of Little Italy, beginning and ending at Tony Brush Park. Families and friends can enjoy time together while exercising and supporting this great cause.

By registering for the D'Light 5K Run / 1 Mile Walk, participants agree to the following. I understand that running a road race is a potentially hazardous activity and I should not participate unless I am medically able to do so and properly trained. I assume all risks associated with running or otherwise participating in this event including, but hot limited to: heart attack, stroke, dehydration, exhaustion, falls and other physical injuries, contact with other participants, the effects of weather, traffic and course conditions. I therefore, release and discharge Cleveland Montessori, its promoters, sponsors, staff and volunteers from any liability for injury, harm, loss, damage or inconvenience occurring to either myself or names applicant during participation of this event. I further give and grant my full permission to Cleveland Montessori and its sponsors for the free use of my name, any photographs, videos and/or audio recordings in any broadcast, telecast or other record or account of this event.
